Nickey Mickey: Pulp non-Fiction

Pulp non-Fiction

From yesterday, I started to practice English pronunciations with the book named EIGOMIMI. It means English ears.

The idea of this book is totally same as any other books. The book was published 4 years ago but the book is still best-seller now.

For Japanese, to distinguish every English pronunciation is quite difficult.
But unless I want to work in film industry as animator, communication skill is as important as technical skill.

So I will keep doing this practice.

By the way

I saw Pulp Fiction this morning before coming to school.

This film was directed by Quentin Tarantino and he also played in it.

Following paragraph is my report about this movie.

「Pulp Fiction」

First of all, I’ve seen many Quentin Tarantino’s films and his films are very violent, there are any gangs in his most films.
I think he is good at using back ground music. Generally speaking, we imagine serious music in the scene of killing people or quite violence. For example, in the God Father, very serious quiet music was used and I think it’s suitable.
But in the Quentin Tarantino’s films, very encouraging loud music was used.
Take a glance, we would feel uncomfortable. But I think he stands the side of gangs, the point of view of his films isn’t us but always gang.
As I said, his films are actually too violent but I’ve never felt bad so much. The reason is its back ground music. The things he wanted to tell us are not how sad the victims are but how funny and nutty gangs are

That I learned from this movie was that I had to change even music according to the subjects or respects and changing music could change even the image of the film.

See ya
